Sup all i was wondering if there where any diffrences between the 02 ECu and the 03 ECU (wrx that is) ??? the reason i ask is because there are people selling 02 unichip saying they are strictly for the 02. So i was wondering if an 02 unichip would work w/ and 03 just fine?? thank you Mario

 

Have a Unichip and I need it reprogrammed?

A. You are a TurboXS Unichip customer.

TurboXS will reprogram your Unichip to one or our 'Stages" for free and all you are responsible for is the shipping to and from us. We do this on our time, when we have time, so please bear with us as it may take 3 days before it is shipped back to you.

Here are your ONLY options for reprogramming:

STG1 or STG191 (91 oct): 02 WRX with a muffler or cat-back exhaust only!

STG2 or STG291 (91 oct): 02 WRX with a TurboXS Turbo-back exhaust system only!

STG3: 02 WRX with a TurboXS Turbo-back exhaust system, TurboXS uppipe, and a TurboXS TMI only!

STG4: 02 WRX, TXS TBE, TXS Uppipe, VF30, STI Injectors, Fuel Pump, and optional TXS TMI only!

B. I am not a TurboXS customer; I bought a TurboXS Unichip used.

We will make no exceptions in reprogramming for other components. Serious engine damage may result! Either remove the components or get something tunable like the UTEC.

F. I have a different manufacturer’s component.

Sorry, but it may or may not work properly with our programs.

G. I have an 03 WRX, can I use the TurboXS Unichip?

The TurboXS Unichip is not 03 compatible!

H. Can I have my TurboXS Unichip custom tuned?

Yes, TurboXS offers custom tuning at our dyno facility only.

Man that sucks!!!! Well thanks Wes. So what other inexpensive options are there for us 03 guys other than Utec, Exede, EcuTek and, any stand alone?? If i lived on the mainland i'd say cobb but i don't . There has to be something else??
