APv2 for 2007 STi stuck on UPDATING screen

I have a 2007 STi and have had my AP since 2007 and NEVER once ran into problems. I was on Cobb's website just browsing around and saw they had new firmware updates so I figured why not just go ahead and update. Now my AP is stuck at this updating screen... and everytime I open up AP Manager and try to update it I get errors saying update failed, try different usb ports or usb cables... I've done all that and I e-mailed COBB and still havent heard back from them. Please help if you know whats wrong? If you need more info this is as much as I can provide...

I have a 2007 STi, I am NOT using a MAC, I am NOT using USB 3.0 ports or cables when trying to do this update, my AP is a v2 running Firmware u1.1.2.0-4297 and I am trying to update it to the newest firmware which is u1.6.7.8-6381

Here are some pics of the errors and where it gets stuck at...
