the 2nd thing is anyone have one (on a 2.5 rs)
the 3rd thing what is a good price.
the 4th if there is a good place(cheap in price and sent in timely manner), who?
the 5th are there better ones then this(better being function, operation)
i will sacrifice loks for function.
the 6th how hard are they to put in.

On a '98 or '99 RS, yes, if you have significant other mods. the issue is, you'll never know if you've actually tuned it properly for more power with a dyno (or at least DeltaDash Road dyno). '00-'01 RS have a problem with the ECU learning aorund the AFC fast. Some have issues, some don't. I'm not too up on pricing, since I have an '01. I looked at a cople recently, saw them as low as $240, but apparently it's the previous-generation model. I don't know what the "best" one is, although I've heard they all have their pros and cons. Usually it's an ease of use vs. capability tradeoff. Wiring them in is not hard, there are instructions in places like Scooby mods.
