AccessPort Questions

Just ordered my AccessPort.I will be running the stage 2 93 octane map when I get it.I have a few question, please help.
1-What should my base map be, the stock map or the stage 2?
2-I have a MBC.Do I still need it?
3-I have the 3/16 Mod.Can I still use it?

I can't wait! WHAT! 6 TO 8 WEEKS! DAMN YOU COBB!DAMN YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!

1. I'd say stage 2 because otherwise you'll get CEL's. Stage 2 disables all the CEL's associated with stage 2 mods.

2. Can the MBC. Accessport modifies boost through the OE EBC. You're spending a lot of money on a "tune" that includes proper, safe boost for the target HP. Bypassing it to run more boost is just asking for trouble, and probably making the whole thing less efficient.

3. Dump the 3/16" mod if you have it....AP takes the stock resistor into account and the mod throws it off. People with the 3/16" mod find that they don't hit target boost since AP will dial it back when the mod is present.

Thanks. Now I have to remember how stock went back together. What the right size fitting (stock size) for the 3/16 mod?

the original restrictor is 1/8th. Make sure you still have that orifice in the hose that leads to the compressor side of the turbo. the lack of that stupid little brass thing was the reason i could not boost for like 2 days after i got my accessecu
