30-50 engine hp wanted.

hey all, what are some of the best ways to maximize engine hp going short of a turbo upgrade on a stock 04 wrx. any input would be great. i would like to get a little more snap (30-50 hp)
thanks in advance and good hunting.

Up-pipe and turboback will get you there. It's advertised as a 30AWHP gain, so it's in the range you are looking for. Add a reflash and you're definitely there.

Dont be scared of running catless, your car will be ok, its new. If you are that scared get one with a cat, 1 wont hurt that much maybe a few hp. Full exhaust is a good one like everyone has said, turbo backs and up pipe, but also header, GT spec headers as seen in the vivid racing car added 16 hp+ the 30 from the turbo back and up pipe.46 hp from exhaust is pretty mean. reflash would give you an extra 20 on top of that.

thanks for the input guy's!! i am used to having a n/a engine and going from there. it is amazing what little things can do to get docent gains on a allready turboed car. where is cobb located on the east coast? i live in central ny and would be willing to go there if they could have my work done in a day or two.

thanks and cheers!!
