Yes, you would need a control unit for just the boost gauge.
Install is $115 for the control unit and boost gauge.

EGT gauge labor is $75 or $110 if we have to weld the EGT bung as well.

Yes, if you're talking about the BF series gauges, the $115 is for the CU and boost gauge installation. The boost gauge alone installed and OTD (including tax) would be $299.
