No it keeps your DOT approved crash bar, I for one like to keep my saftey and have a large intercooler core.

I have investment in my car and in my life, I do not want to comprmise it. That is why I like this kit.

Hi,

Can this Hybrid FMIC kit handle the needs of an FP Red setup on my 04 STI? The kit looks nice. I like that the pipes leading into the throttle body are on the opposite side of the turbo. However, that core looks really small. How would this kit compare to a Turboxs or Perrin kit? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Unhappy different kit

Oops! This kit is different from the pics for the GC8. The return pipes are not opposite the turbo(STI pics).

This core is 4" Thick to compinsate for the reduced surface area.

You can use a mini battery like a PC680 Oddesey or you can get a relocation kit from Summit and move it to your trunk.
