The best real way to explain it, is that it is sort of like clothing: you have your sizes; small, medium and large. You cannot put a small size on a person who wears a large and a large would be too big for a person who wears a small and so on. Also, sockets are different too, you cannot plug an H1 bulb in to a H4 socket. Usually H3 bulbs are used for foglights, H4 bulbs are usually in head lights which have one lamp which acts as a high beam and a low beam and D2S is usually for cars which came with stock HIDs.
For 02-03 JDMs you'd need an H1 Bulb, which fits in to your housing perfectly. All you would have to do is replace the bulb, plug in the wires, mount the kit and drill a hole in your dust cap to allow the wires to get through.
I hope i answered all your questions, feel free to ask any more!

Both bulbs are H1 size and yeah it is possible to get 5300K for your lows and 8000K for your highs. You would just need to order 2 kits, 1 8000K and 1 5300K. One great part about having the same size high and low beams is that you can swap lights any time you want. You can make one side 5300K and one side 8000K, pretty cool!

Shipping is free as always to all I-club.com members and just visit this link to order, I have both sets in stock and can get them to you in less than a week!

From the picture of the 10,000k Bulbs they look a lot like the ones installed in the 2002+ Audi's. My neighbor has an A4 and Blinds me in my Rear view mirrors whenever she pulls up behind me. Do you know what k bulbs her A4 probally has. Well anyways I think I want the 10,000k kit. I just need to round up some money, then I will be able to pull up behind her at the stop sign .. HA HA payback is a B****. .. Jk.
BTW: Have you ever seen anyone use HID's in their '04 Fog Lamps?

HaHa sounds like a plan!!
Nope, we do not have 10000K that fits in to foglight housings (h3 size), If her blind you than the 10000K will cause serious blindness. Her A4 uses 4300K lights but the projector in her headlights and the way the light is focused creates the blue/purple look, but on the road they are white. While the 10000K are an intense blue/purple color which will make the road the same color. I really only recommend 10000K for show use just because of their color. The color might be too intense for the street, and might get you some unwanted attention.
Let me know when your interested this deal is only good till the end of the month!
Thanks

So from my knowledge it is all plug and play and you might have to drill a small size hole in your dust cap to allow the wires to get through.
