idle rough - smoke by intake side under 1 & 3 cylinder
Hello there, I have sti 2006, and I'm experiencing a rough idle, I have changed all of my 4 spark plugs, 1 coil pack, 1 fuel injector @ cylinder 4 that misfiring, still rough idle, there's no knocking noise in the engine, what would be the problem? could you help me?.. Thanks

Check valve clearance, vacuum leaks, etc.

I have an AP I'll be getting tuned with. There's a phone number for his shop on the bottom of all his posts, and I'm sure there's an email on his website too.
The price for tunes depends on the how much time is spent I believe. I'm upgrading injectors so he has to spend more time on it than a more simple stage 2 protune, I believe.

Hey Paul you guys did the 60k on my Spec. B a while ago and ever since then I've been smelling a oil/rubber burning smell. I checked the inner CV boot on the passenger side its intact. Also not really liking the Redline in the transmission as when the car is cold its pretty notchy. What would it cost me to get Extra-S put in? I Have tomorrow off and could stop by anytime for you to take a look. I'll probably call you tomorrow morning.
