EQ Tuning New Header Cross-Pipe!

This is our latest product for the Subaru community!

The factory cross-pipe is made out of crush bent piping which creates a restriction and turbulance. It also uses a flex section that is known to blow out and leak under higher power and extreme conditions. The result is poor boost response, a loss of power, annoying noises, and exhaust smell in the cabin.

Our replacement cross-pipe starts with high quality American stainless steel laser cut flanges and pipe that is mandrel bent for smooth flow and a consistent diameter. We then incorporated a unique double slip joint to replace the failure prone flex section. The double slip joint design allows for thermal expansion and easy installation while keeping the system completely leak free. Finally, the piping, slip joint, and flanges are TIG welded in house by our master welder/fabricator to keep quality control at a maximum. The result is a very attractive, clean part that functions as well as it looks.

There are several other cross-pipes currently on the market, but none of them offer our unique double slip joint design. Our pipe also fits perfectly into the factory heatshield to keep underhood temperatures down and to allow for optimal turbo response but retaining as much heat in the pipe as possible. This also allows for a stealthy, factory style installation.

This product is now available for $225 including OEM gaskets for installation. Please give us a call to place an order!

Thanks
-- Ed

Saw this in person. Beautiful piece. If my aftermarket ever develops any leaks or cracks I'll be going this rout.

What kind of performance gain can be generally expected from this?

That depends the power levels of the car. With a healthy stage 2 setup on a VF series turbo, expect to see about 5-7whp and 10ft-lbs of torque. This piece also helps to smooth out the power band and helps with spoolup as compared to the stock unit.

Thanks

Our piece fits much better and is made out of higher quality materials. Instead of the flex joint that cracks and leaks over time, we use our unique double slip joint design to allow for expansion while keeping the pipe leak free. Our pipe diameter is sized more apropriately for the header collectors which keeps turbulance down and aids in spoolup and response. And finally, our piece fits directly into the factory heatshield to provide good heat retention, keep underhood temps down, and provide a stealthy OEM install.

Thanks

Sure, I'd be happy to do a group buy if someone takes the initiative on it. I can drop the price by $25 if we do 5 units and maybe more if we do 10 units. Please let me know if you're interested in organizing this.

Thanks
