On a recent engine build, the original heads had multiple cranks in the combustion chamber, which is very common on 2.0 litre heads.
The total turn around time from delivery of new heads, machine shop time, to being bolted on the block was less than 8 hours.
Not days or weeks like other places.

well, i, for one, am in a difficult dilemma...

i want to ask paul for more pictures, but what if doing that keeps him from working on my engine?

i am jazzed and a half about this budget rebuild project...
(of my 190k '03 WRX whose heads went south)
i know paul got some cool heads and the big valve stuff done...
we got the forged pistons, crank, rods with ACL race bearings...
we're going with the dark blue injectors...
there's a blouch 16g coming (wednesday, i think)...
a cobb access port (en route)...
a megan down pipe (should be there)...
a helix uppipe...

it's just supposed to be a cool little 2.2 stroker (on eibach springs) with solid internals, good breathing, and a stellar tune...
a little more torque plus a little more power equals a lot more fun in a stealthy little daily driver that makes the folks i pass say, "wtf?"
