Light hearted comments are welcome, but snide insulting comments are definatly not welcome, unless you want us to start with you, which you most definatly do not want.

First off... i never claimed to be a professional tuner, nor have i tuned anyone elses utec but my own. i will not, nor do i want to tune anyone elses utec.
for those of you who do not know what happened, here it is directly from the horses mouth.
what happend is a ring faliure in cylander #4... this could have any # of causes.
i never ran my engine lean, or over 17psi of boost on an ihi vf-23 with sti injectors and sti top mount, was not knocking, or running hot. engine had 77k miles on it when it went, on original tranny/clutch. i purchased the car in may of 2002 with 7 miles on it.
40k of those miles were with the vf-23, and for those of you who know me, know how hard i drive my car.
so yeah, engine is out of car and replacement is on the way... so if anyone needs any weird random parts, shoot me a pm, i got plenty of stuff to get rid of cheap.
my .02 the utec is well worth the money, and so is paying someone to tune it. ie: vishnu, i-speed
that way if your engine blows up you have someone else to blame it on!!!!

UTEC = 12's with bolt on mods.... But not for everyone. Sometimes going with a tuner is better in the long run.
My 2 cents
UTEC is worth the money in gold and you can even let the UTEC take over from start to whatever..
UTEC allows you to add alot of parts on the car without the "$$$$$ being taken away everytime you add parts on your car"..8 plus maps on a flick of a switch
..with zero being all stock ECU. No hacking of the ecu here.
Our WRX did 12's on basic bolt ons with UTEC tunning. But we are not tuners, so please do not inquire just yet......... Just happen to have a fast along the process is all.
cheers

to tell others to shut their trap.
Also, deleting my post, closing the thread until you can think of something belligerent to say and then re-opening it serves what purpose?

I deleted your post because it was crap, simple as that. I am going to start calling you diarrhea-mouth, simply because everything that comes out of your mouth is diarrhea, and you know how people feel about diarrhea, don't you? Well, they don't care too much for it... Much like they don't care much for you. There is so much more I can say about this, that many others don't know, but I'll refrain for your sake.
I suggest you find some new friends to poison.

Also, I have to add... I rarely go off on people, but when someone takes me for granted, screws me, or takes advantage of me, I do not consider them my friends anymore.
