yea i know you guys dont like street racing but this wasnt on the street. it was in the very back of this empty buisness park with about a 1/4 mile straight. so technically not street racing.

ok so to the story. he pulled up and like did his own drag i did mine, then we both turn around and line up next to each other just to talk we talk about both our cars and i ask if he wants to go he says ok. so we both have a pretty even start and im about 1/2 a car lenght ahead of him for the hole race and we finish with me about 3/4 car lenght ahead of him. it was a pretty sick race. i thought he was going to win because those cars have been compared to the STi and evo not the wrx, but i guess not since i won. his was stock 240hp awd, all i have is a up pipe and a turbo back. plus i had a passenger so thats like another 160 pounds. ok now dont flame on me for telling you about racing stories because i dont usualy do it, it was just to perfect so i had to and i know most of you would have too since know one else was around except for some street bikers screwing around and like riding on there handle bars, and believe me they didnt care they were like cheering, im just glad they didnt want to race.

ahh sweet, been wanting to know how we stack up to them as well.

 

They have a lower front bumper than the GTI - the dealer by my house has one.
It's pretty sweet looking - especially w/ the 18" stock rims that come on the GTI and R32.

yea it looked pretty sick it was black with silver rims. i cant believe i beat him, i mean i had 2 people plus i kinda messed up on my start i need to practice.. but w/e it was a completly fair race and i won. it was cool cause there were like 7 streetbikes there like riding on the handlebars and doing that stuff and they all stopped and watched and like where cheering. but yea i wouldnt have raced him if the place had any people im not stupid.

 

sorry man i didnt get a pic. i had a video camera too! im so pissed right before the race i was filming a sound clip of the car adn so pissed i should have had my passenger film. w/e ill meet him again.

Its a great car, the r32, but still not as fast as a wrx stock for stock

Yep, not sure which model lines, but some are assembled in Mexico.
