Why don't someone make their own rally race from one state to another?? I'll be interested. Just meet up, throw in $100 each car and say a place and go, first ones there wins the money that everyone threw in.

Maybe you were just kidding but what you've described is illegal street racing, not a rally. Street racing threads aren't permitted on i-Club.

Car and Driver Magazine hasn't hosted the Cannonball Run in many years. Instead, each year they hold the One Lap of America, which is a series of timed events at sanctioned road courses and drag strips around the country.
