Hey decodeddiesel....How did you go about getting your subie tax free? I am also active military, but never heard about the tax break. I'm in Texas right now.

are you communist? well anyways korean if you want help in buying i can help u( i work at a subaru dealership in hawaii). your best bet is not only from "testimonials" but also from the web. like kbb.com, edmunds, consumer guide etc. . . all these resources will reveal the dealer invoice. basically you wanna offer the dealer a "fair" price between their cost and retail. you will find that everyone will have different prices so it all comes down to how you wanna negotiate or not.

if you are a costco member that has its benefits also. find a subaru dealership that is a part of the costco program in your area.
