Or your could make the 1 hour drive to Dayton and get one from White Allen for MSRP - who, BTW, is honoring order lists, and making sure you get only what you ordered, or take the 1.5 hour drive to cinci and pick up a blue/silver or a black/silver currently in stock at Jake Sweeny at MSRP, or you could drive the 10 more minutes around the top of the city and go to Jeff Wyler and order one for less than MSRP (or so folks have said on this and various other forums). Of course I could always just buy it from you with a 1k markup.

Todd,
Here's A bit of free and non-flammable advice: Go back to your orignal post and delete the line about dealer markup.
You'll then be able to generate interest and move that car without a problem.
The early adopters looking to buy at any cost have already taken possesion of their STi's. All thats left are the savvy & price conscious folks who patiently waited and would not buy from any dealer thats charging a markup of any amount.
Follow my advisory and avoid being put on the 'Do Not Buy' list of dealers who are overcharging. As you know the profit built into the STi is nearly the same as the WRX, which is quite healthy.
Good luck old chap!

Galles and Davis Subaru, Albuquerque, NM.
Silver STi
Horne Auto Center, Show Low, AZ
JBP STi
Lamb Subaru, Prescott, AZ
None of these places have waiting lists and the cars have all been available for at least two weeks, and in some cases over a month.
Albuquerque has the lowest sales tax of all the locations (5.8125%) and the cars all have very few options. Two of the Galles Davis STis have no options at all.
You can find all these dealers from the subaru.com website and do an inventory search to see the options lists and MSRPs. Unfortunately Horne does not have a subaru website with searchable inventory, but you can call on the phone. The AZ places want $1000 to hold a car, the NM dealer will hold a car with just a credit card number (but not for very long).
I won't be buying any of them; I have to wait until October. And I won't be paying any markup when I do buy, thank you.
