Hood Options?

This may not be in the right forum for this question, so please re-classify if needed.
Well, as luck would have it, I have a collision with a neurotic 10-point buck in a somewhat urban area near Atlanta. Left a football sized right in the middle the front of of my Silver '02 WRX. Can't very well bang it out either.... and all this not 6 weeks after I take the car off full coverage.
ANYWAY, FYI, I'm a certifiable CASOB (thats a cheap-a$$ SOB) and there ain't no way I'm paying the dealer $500 for a new hood in primer. And I can't seem to find a junkyard hood anywhere either! CF hoods are cheaper, so it seems, than the OEM- and well, I'm not too keen on the unpainted CF look for my grocery getter, but I can paint a CF hood silver to match I suppose.
I'm a little skeptical about the ebay cheapies, but not too concerned about a perfect CF pattern (since I'm going to paint it anyway). Just want an inexpensive, durable hood delivered to Savannah, GA. But I don't know one CF shop from another.
Any suggestions? I've been surfing here and on NASIOC to try to catch someone dumping an '02-'03 hood for some time with no luck...
