I dont think a minute or two. The first two rounds out the chamber are non leathal, the third is bird shot and the 4th 00 baby. The thought process is you will wise up after the shotgun racks.

Probably still get sued for hitting someone with the non leathals but hopefully if it ever happens I can show I at least tried to resolve the conflict without lethal force.

I would only have to resort to this if they got past my killer attack chihouhoua.

^ do they make non lethal type bean bag shots for shotgun applications? that would be very practical for home defense since its non lethal.

Yea its a real shame non leathals are not avalable to the public. You can make your own if you have a shot shell reloader. but im afraid we are going off topic. So Via Con Dios Hunter.

Everyone is wishing he would have said what was on his mind but then he would have been bashed for speaking his mind. I think he should not have illuded to things and left it up to the imagination.

A simple im leaving I-club and why or just a goodbye would have been better.

They do but not for the public. They can still kill if not used properly.

My unit had to go through like a 20 hr certification process before they were issued to us and a range certification.

They were however very useful, and came in really handy when people decided to run from you. I actually had non leathals for my M203 grenade launcher and they were a blast. Picture a 40mm half raquet ball mounted on a plastic disc. Very effective out to about 30 meters then they fly all wrong, and yes they hurt like hell.

You dont engage directly rather shoot the ground in front of the person and they bounce up to knee level.

^ thats exactly what i'm getting at. unless you were ready to share details and a story, this thread was just about getting some attention - "hey everyone look at me, I'm leaving" - mission accomplished i suppose. for any member to leave any on line forum, they're close personal friends would know about it, since they are close personal friends, but why would anyone care to tell the rest of the world, who doesn't even know who he is.

30 meters is pretty far considering how big of an object you are shooting. how come they arent available to the public. i would think people would totally buy em up. unless you're a hunter of course. no pun intended.

I think the fear is some jackass johnny knoxville wanna be would accidently kill someone with a NON leathal round and then the manf would get sued.

To quote your above thread what I understand you saying is we should not feel bad for jacking this totally useless thread, and it may make the OP feel better/ see missed to see all the posts in his farewell thread.
