Actually, it does work. I am also a firm believer that this would be considerd spam, but my friend recently recieved his iPod from this offer. You have to sign up for some offer from a list that requires a credit card. If you cancel before the trial is over, you can, in theory, get an iPod for free. If they will still send it to you, however, is another story.
