I am considering buying a used WRX, I'm and I was looking to spend $17,000-$18,000. I will have $2,000 cash down on the car, I am expecting to drive off with a 2002 or 2003. I am a little worried about the financing part, I am hoping it works out alright. I found out my credit score is 687 according to freecreditreport.com, I have a $500 balance on my credit card which has a $1000 limit and a personal loan that I took out in October which has about $300 ish left on it and that is it as far as debt. I am looking for info on weather or not I should be excited and looking forward to getting a WRX or is this far fetched? I want the blunt truth. I make roughly $1300-$1500 per month and I am sure I can afford it, it is just the approval that scares me, the rejection.
