So? nobody else posted here, and yeah the news is all over the world... oh I love also shooting FF since I own a 5D classic. Maybe you never really shoot with a 1D series since you were the first one who was surprised that the 1DS was FF at one of the meet way back. The 5DMKII is not the only camera Canon makes!

Those who know me know that I hardly make meets because of my job and I don't recall I ever had a moment where I didn't know what the 1Ds was. I never met you bro. Maybe you should really get your facts straight before your libel.


All I know about you is that you get pissed because people like take car pictures, you don't see me flaming you about this. OH WAIT. Oh I'm sorry Mr. Professional Photographer, you are partially right, I shot with 1D Mk2 and 1Ds Mk III, never owned one; but I owned a 1N, most likely before you even touched a camera in your life. 1N, 300D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 5D, 5DmkII.

Perhaps you are taking your "profession" a little too serious.

 

I don't know you either and that is why I did not take it as a Joke, since most of your posts here are alike and I know you are old school. I am sorry If I did rub your ego the wrong way, but you should also get your facts straight to be fair.

We met once at the Kahala Meet and while waiting for the drink at Jamba Juice we talked about FF and APSH, I mentioned the 1D series was also FF particularly the 1DS, and you were puzzled about it.

I am not a professional photographer, as I don't earn income 100% from it and it is not my primary profession.

I rarely post here, so get the fact straight about me being pissed about others taking car pictures. Did you see me posted anything against anybody in the picture thread the "Paparazzi" crew started? there is always 2 sides of the story. Oh because I don't come to the group meet or else, I am not lurking here.

Glad to hear that you had a collection of gear, and pardon me for my lack of knowledge.

Anyway, I was just sharing the fact that Canon made another great camera even thought it was not FF, but hope they keep the 1DS FF.

Many of my posts here are alike and, as you can see, I can create threads like OMGZ I SAW A 722, AND HERE'S THE FT86 GUYZ. If you went ahead and been: "hours behind". Would I get defensive? Nope.

Puzzled? If such a conversation had taken place, one can easily understand you were talking about the 1D, which as I am sure you know, is an APS-H sensor. So how did it jump to the 1Ds? It's like saying there is no difference between a Fiat 500 and an Abarth 500. Same base, different car, different uses. They are two completely different cameras.

 

That's ok, I know now that you are great and more, and as I stated that I did not intend to argue with you here, but it seems you like to have the final word. So be it. You are right!
