The problem is not with the content of any given thread. CLSmooth, you are not getting your posts moved because you are a Lakers fan, as much as you seem to want BAIC to think that. They are getting moved because you are perilously close to meeting the definition of a troll. Do you understand the difference? If you do not, please say so- not a single one of the moderators here has anything against you personally. But, when you continue to do things despite knowing that many people are annoyed by it, then are asked more than once by moderators to stop, you have broken the rules of the user agreement you clicked "I agree" to to join the forum. This forum is not a slice of democracy- it belongs to one person, and all of its members WILL follow the rules he has set forth. There are several consequences for failing to do so.

So, let me be perfectly clear. Continuing to post "go lakers" in giant colored font in threads that have zero relevance to basketball, despite having been repeatedly told not to, constitutes a violation of forum rules. Post whatever you want, but leave the self-quotes and banners out of it unless they are on-topic in the thread. Now stop whining about "injustice" and go about your business.

werd. I dont' think everything in BAIC should be car related. It should be more a forum for the community - us BAIC members to share info, jokes, local stuff and deals and just have a good time.

The BAIC forum right now is awesome just the way it is. BS threads are cool, and if the mods receive a bunch of complaints about one they take care of it. I completely agree with what BAN said becuase it's 100% accurate.

 

Smooth, props for sticking by your team but I think that you know that have sometimes been in the wrong. To use your example, if BruceLee posted a pic of him holding us hostage everytime he posted a reply, it would get old quick.

btw, i am sorry your team will suck next year. you might want to find the right color blend for the clippers

please......sarcasm on the Lakers aspect....i wasn't born yesterday. I would think w/all the OTHER wise-acres in here, that would be recognized. Although, I am certain there are some insightful people out there.

however, I was/am totally serious on the inconsistency/double standards of SOME (not all) modding.

this wasn't that serious even after the repeated and excessive moving of my subsequent posts, but it is now turning into something other than idle chatter and fun.

this is the internet, so it really shouldn't mean that much to me, but i have met some pretty cool individuals on I-Club & the "other place," esp through the Bay Area Forums. I should not have to clarify my previous statements/intentions because despite not knowing me as well as my other friends, I'm pretty sure the aforementioned group knows my true character and can tell when I'm just messing around.

I am offering this last reply in hopes of avoiding others, who may not know me, from misinterpreting this situation and me. but, again, this IS the internet, so......
