Seems cops don't even need a sound meter to give a ticket; just their ears! What is up with all that?

This post was to give an updated FYI - spank-yanker!
# Note: New law (27150.2 VC) does not require law enforcement to use sound level meters to test for excessive noise. Citation is based on officer's judgment. Cited violators may have testing done at smog referee stations or may be directed by the court to have testing done. Vehicles in violation must be brought into compliance. A fine may also be imposed.

And yes it is an old bump (month old) big deal - If you don't like to be informed with new information, then you probably shouldn't ask your girl about the "love machine"
Now we all know why you chose the name "soggy noodle" = Limp D***, Weak shrimp!

This is not new, they have been doing that for years. Police officers have never had a db meter strapped to their belts between the pistol and the pepper spray you retard. Sure maybe they now have a specific vehicle code to back it up, when it the past they used the ambiguity of the other statutes.
I gots me my first one of them thar citation thingies with a genuine law enforcement autograph on it for being too loud back in 1989 while driving my 1979 Toyota Celica that had been straight piped from the header to the Ansa tip. The officer did not whip out his db meter, order me to hold a specified RPM and stand behind the car to test the volume. He hooked me up with a fix it ticket and told me to have a nice day...

OMG!! Those ****ing *******s! How can Cops get away with that!?!?! That isn't fair!! I'm special, I should be exempt from speeding laws, I mean come on! It's not like I knew that if I where to speed down this road, that there was a risk that I might get a ticket or something...
