Yea I was accelerating.

I have a VF34 with injectors/fuelpump, helix downpipe, helix uppipe.

The stuff Davon has that I don't is a front mount intercooler (I am running stock) and he has a header/manifold. Also he has a straight through exhaust, I am running a borla hush which is very restrictive.

Also I have an RA gearset, I have heard different things about it, some people say its great from off the line and its not as good from a roll but who knows.

I expected Davon to win from the beginning, but I admit I didn't expect him to beat me that bad

Thanks for the info. What is it tuned with? Has it been on a dyno?

Shiv

ECUtek by i-speed

It was on a dyno back when I had a straight through exhaust, I haven't dyno'd it since I put the other exhaust on there, but I did notice a huge decrease in power by putting it on.

I made ~ 275whp when I dyno'd last, I would like to do it again one of these days just to see how far down I am from the previous #'s

I am running ~ 17 psi in 2nd and 3rd gear, Davon is running 1.3 bar I think...I dont know the conversions though.

zoeb, when you had the borla hush put on and mated to fit the helix dp, is there a little dibbit where it is still only 2.5 inches for like a few inches before it meets up to the helix from when it was sposed to meet up to the stocker? that is how mine is, and i think that could be a big cause of retriction...

Thats how it used to be, but LIC motorsports got me a better flange on there, the 3" one...the exhaust however is still very restrictive compared to a straight through exhaust like the HKS or Blitz

I think it was ~ $60...I dunno though I had a lot of other stuff done as well at the same time.

Yes it is worth it, u can definatly feel a difference with the flange on there.

That's funny I run the same exhaust system on my car and back to back dyno'd it with no loss in power at all... with the previous exhaust being very "straight through" and totally too loud for me.
