Question XACT Prolite Flywheel

Has anyone already installed one? Cause i ordered mine yesterday and i'm still looking for a clutch. I would have to think that the flywheel is pretty good since it comes from ACT and is chrom. and weighs in at 9.6 lbs. Does anyone have any suggestions on a clutch for my car.......i was thinking about the ACT street clutch with the hd pressure plate. Let me know what you guys think.

There has been talk in the past that very lightweight(under ~12 pounds) flywheels can cause sporadic misfire CEL's...I don't remember the details, but IIRC the ECU sees RPM changing faster than they should and you get a CEL on decel. The use of lightweight/underdrive pullies and very light flywheels made it even worse.

I'm going to install the Excedy 14.3 pound one.

It can/may happen with any engine management.
If it happens to you, you will know what it is...
To avoid it, use a bit heavier flywheel, and if you are going to drag race a heavier flywheel will be better/easier to launch your car anyway.
Light is good, too light is not.
