wrx tranny with sti motor

Car Info: Broken ass stock '02 WRX
The WRX tranny is weak, as in it barely holds stock WRX power (I personally have never had a major issue with it, but LOTS of other people have broken theirs)
So to mate it with an STi engine that makes 70+ more horsies just IMHO doesn't make sense, a lot of the WRX owners put STi trannys in WRX's 'cause its FAR stronger than the glass WRX tranny.

Yeah, but the XT motor is only pushing 230hp and 235 lb-ft of torque...
Not a whole lot more than a WRX (well '02, '03, and I think '04MYs). A WRX tranny in a XT makes sense, but if you drop a wrx tranny on an STi engine, baby go boom!
