TRanny Oil

How much Tranny oil does my 1997 Subaru Legacy GT need? I did a search here and over the web and can't find jack.

Nothing in your Owners Manual?? They usually have all that information in them, usually towards the back.

I was checkin my owners manual and didn't find anything but I didn't drive my car with out being sure so I have it here at work with me. I will check it but it would be nice if someone could save me the time so I can go home and fix it right away.

Probably around 4 quarts. I think the impreza takes 3.7quarts. (Of course I'm assuming you mean MT).
