Tranny with no oil

Have you checked the dipstick? Your tranny has its own dipstic. In the wrx its right behind and to the left of the intercooler.

does it do it when the trans is cold?
because if i run high speeds or change gears alot it gets hot and feels like what you discribe

it is because the stock fluid is not so good at high temps and good synthetic oil is the answer to the problem

motul is good from what i heard but dont get royal purple because its to slippy if you do a search you will find just what you want

try neo or red line but check which red line because one kind will eat your syncros because it is not meant for brass

same in the US i can only find Motul, Red Line, or Neo on the internet i cant go to a auto parts store around me and get it either
