throw out bearing

throw out bearing

how hard is it to change a throw out bearing on 2002 wrx,i hope i dont have to drop the tranny,other cars ive owned were quit simple,can anyone help.

I think you may need to drop the tranny, or pull it back away from the engine a few inches at least.

not to be stpid, but if you do that, change everthing. you have to drop the tranny out the bottom. had mine on my old rs out twice. the second time was the throw out bearing. if you are going throught the trouble CHANGE EVERYTHING, it is a 2002 change it all. pressure, flywheel, throw out, friction, it is totaly worth it.
