Why are the guys at subaru so uptight about the issues with the trannies. The car was meant to be a reliable performance car with a warranty but it seems that anything at all that goes wrong with these cars is abuse and I am getting sick and tired of what subaru is doing to the loyal subaru owners. I asked the guy at the subaru dealer about the 0-60 time they claim. I then asked if I tried to test their claim and the tranny broke would they fix it and they said no. I think that there might as well be no warranty cause if you drive it its abuse.

 

Well, SOA replaced my 3rd, 4th gear synchros as well as the hub bearing on my STOCK STI. I was grinding 4th at 3k = > shifts.


1500 miles on the repaired tranny and theres a click hear+ felt every time I shift to 2nd ....

COuld they have assembled it wrong ???
