Any talk or suggestion of a SMG unit for the MY07 WRX STI over the 6 speed?

 

Well we spent last weekend, driving through the Yarra Valley in Victoria Australia. Included in the driving pack we're 1 M3 (2004), 1 WRX STi (MY05) (Mine) amongst others. One thing that became apparant was the ability to keep both hands planted on the Steering wheel, while changing gearing through various degree's of corners. Don't get me wrong, I love the stick, but a Elect/Hydro system on the existing Gear box would be a great advantage. Just as it is in a pure Rally WRX Sti.

 

A lot of expense? Based on what? What's the system worth that's used on the Team Rally cars arounf the globe, in proportion to the value of the other high tech items? It's only an option. As it is/was on many other makes. The trend is for SMG's.
