Rear Differential Question

So when im driving im hearing this grinding noise from the rear, im thinking it could be the bearing... Is this something that can be under the 6yr 50k power train warranty?

Also does anyone know what causes this problem?

ok so i just got back from the dealership and turns out its the wheel bearing... so what causes it to go out?

IS it the front diff of rear
its the driver side rear ...


thanks for your replys, yeah the dealer turned me down and quoted me 700 to get it repaired yeah likeim gonna get it serviced thru the dealer, so it looks like ill be getting those legacy bearings ...
