REAR DIFF SWAP ?'s

My rear diff just chucked a nut and I need to replace it. I have a 95 2.2l with 4eat and I am wondering if since my gear ratio is 4.11 can I just use a rear diff out of any MT 2.5 rs or is there a certain year that I need. Oh ya, I searched thoroughly.

Finding a used 2.2 liter auto diff is easier than a used RS diff. Just call around for one of those.

There are 5 2.5 rs at the wrecking yard by my house, nobody around here has a wrecked 2.2

If the ratios are the same, yes you can most likely use them, but make sure you get the axles for the diff as well.
