i just got a kartboy short shifter with bushings and **** for my wrx but i have a sti short shifter that came oem in my car. anyone in here have had the sti short shifter stocked and switched to the karboy one? im trying to c if its worth switching the sti shifter out or not or is it the best it gets. Please give me your thoughts people. Thanks

The STi shot shifter has all diffrent linkages & geometry...
I think the Kartboy basically does the same thing as the STi assembly but more inexpensively...
I have seen the Kartboy peice, but never driven one.
The bushings should be a good improvement, but I don't know if you'll gain anything at all if you already have the factory short throw...
compare them side by side & see for your self...

The factory one is a much better, and safer unit. It is safer because it replaces the linkage, and everything else. It doesn't put things at weird angles that will eventually do damage to the transmission. Keep your factory one in there, although replacing the bushings does help the feel. Let me know if I need to get more specific.
