what is a wet clutch?

my rex has problems shifting into first and grinds on hard shifts into 4th. one more question, how much do i need to buy, is 1 liter enough for the whole system?

Yes get the Motul Gear 300, it works perfectly in Subaru transmissions, the transmission alone takes 3.3litres, i cant remember how much the diff takes, but you'll need to buy 4 bottles of it anyway, and whats left over should be enough for the diff.
