Just installed my short throw a couple days ago. The install was basically the same as on scoobymods.com, except the '06 has screws where the earlier years had clips so its actually a little easier. All you have to do is unscrew the shiftknow and grab the shifter molding and pop it out, dont bother with any of the screws. It was contacting in first gear so I flipped the plate and bent the tabs, it would probably look better if I just ground the plate out but wateva. Shifts are noticably shorter, and quite a bit notchier. I installed the Kartboy **** as well and I really like the feel, its really like driving a whole new car... I will admit I think the sticker that goes in the **** is a little lame, it doesnt really fill the entire circle, but thats just being real picky. Overall the install was real easy and makes a substancial difference... its really how the car should come stock.

 

now replace the bushings... which will yield 80% more difference in positive throws and clicking into place.... yummy
