Kartboy

I keep hearing that kartboy is the way to go as far as short throw shifters. I just was wondering if someone with this product could fill me in on it. Thanks.

Good performing shifter for the money, but I haven't tried any other aftermarket shifters. Like all other shifters, installation is simple. Factory boot and shifter **** fit Kartboy like they were made for it. Minor clearancing (grinding) of a steel reinforcement plate under the console required on some cars, otherwise the shifter contacts the plate in 1st gear. Get the package deal with the Kartboy bushings.

I must admit I have not tried other aftermarket short shifters but I want to say for the record my Subaru opional STi short shifter has an excelant, persice throw and I think it feels great. There are ways to go that will give you a shorter throw but the feel is superb on the Subaru opional kit.
