Yup. It'll cost $5k-$10k, depending on what transmission you want, new or used, and where you get your labor done. You could probably sell the auto tranny to recoup some costs, but I doubt you could get more then $1k.

That number is kind of a shot in the dark. For a real answer, you'd do best to call up a local transmission shop or Subaru shop.
