So while I was driving last night my abs light turned on. And a mile later my brake light turned on. Checked my brake res. and was low on fluid, so I refilled. BUT the light is still on, will having air in my brake lines cause this problem? or something else?

 

Having both lights come on is a serious indication that your brakes are not working properly. The yellow ABS light that `came on will indicate that your ABS will not work till you get this problem fixed. The conventional brake system will still work however you mentioned that the RED brake light is also on which indicates that there is a malfunction in the brake system. There are a number of reasons which will do this and you really need to get this fixed.
