okay i have searched through the tranny section for a while and couldnt find anything on this particular subject. okay i put my car on a lift at work and put it in drive cause ive been feeling this like grabbing or locking feeling while driving. when i put it up only three wheels where spinning. when looking closer at the front drivers side cv joint i noticed right where it goes in at it was like wobbling up and down and everntually every few seconds would grab somewhat hard then go back to wobbling. now the tech who was helping me (our drivetrain specialist) said something about the final drive? what i want to know is if thats what its called or if its the actual tranny. im gonna pull the axle out tonight and see if i can see anything but i wanted to know if anyone has heard of this or experienced it in their L imprezas. thanks for the help
