6 SPD options anybody??
Hi guys!!!I've been reading alot.......Everybody seems to say the wrx 5 spd will die......Sooner or later...........Yet I don't see any somewhat cost effective way of slapping in a 6 spd.......I would love to have the 6 spd in my rex........But the way everybody is talking and the way everything costs.......I guess I should save and buy an sti............I guess I just want confirmation for that fact......I LOVE MY REX........But, I really wanted a car that I could tinker a little with and not have the thing blow up. Advice?

That's because they're expensive
No need to make threats. Alex has a great thread somewhere around here about bolting in the 6 speed. edit: here it is: https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...=&threadid=3541
then you have the option of a dog-box.
.....Is a dog box something that is gonna work ok on the street or am I gonna be wishing I was deaf???

They range in price. the MRT set looks to be the most cost-effective while still being very durable. it runs about 4 grand last i checked...

Thanx man!!!!That price is alot better then the 6 spd conversions that I've seen..................I wonder how much it would cost to just buy the 6spd through subaru then assemble all the other parts needed yourself........I'm guessing that doing it that way probably wouldn't make any difference......It would end up costing twice as much......
