1st can it be driven like this if boost is cut down,and driven very easy



my friend has a 02 wrx w/10k miles,i was in the car when this
happened we were going round a curve shifted in third gear,
punched it down (snap) there it went,this guy has not never abused this car in any way,hell he has never went to the track and never raced anyone,

who in the east would you recomennd for repair

Drive it as little as possible because even with very mild driving you might just be damaging more gears and synchros by driving it with metal pieces sitting in it from the broken gear or gears. Those pieces tend to scar up other teeth and damage things like synchros. Bottom line is you might want to bite the bullet and take it in to be fixed rather then driving it and making things worse.
