06 STI - DCCD Operation

I know that there is a slight change in the front to rear torque split. Previous to 2006
it was 35/65, it is now 41/59. Does anyone know what the ratios are for all of the DCCD settings on the 06.

I am actually looking for docs on what each of the settings means. Does anyone know? The owners manual is worthless.

Maybe I will call Subaru, hopefully they can provide some more details on DCCD operation. It annoys me that they don't have more info in the manual.

If you can get ahold of an FSM that would probably be your best bet.

Here are the torque settings for the <= 2005 DCCD:

AUTO - 35/65 (known)
LOCK - 50/50 (known)
V - 47.25/52.75
V - 44.75/55.25
v - 40/60
v - 37.25/62.75
0 - 35/65

Can someone verify these values?

The 2006 STI the AUTO DCCD setting is now 41/59 so I would assume that the other values were modified. I got the above information from a dealer but they had no info on the 2006 DCCD values. Lame!!

Got this info from Subaru:

"Your 2006 Impreza Owners Manual only includes basic vehicle operating information in it. I would be happy to provide you with the values for each of the DCCD setting in Manual mode.

With the dial rotated fully forward (towards the front of the vehicle, the lock ratio is 100%. The next setting is 85%, then 65%, then 35%, then 15%, then the last setting is 0% lock ratio. The lock ratio is a factor of the center differential that distributes power front and rear.

In automatic mode, the lock ratio and torque splits are continuously variable."

0%??? So does that mean you have a fully rear-wheel drive vehicle????

no, 0 percent does not mean rear wheel drive...........it simply means the differential is in a open position........which would be 35/65 for 04 05....and 41/59 for 06.
