06 impreza outback 3rd gear issue
I just bought a 2006 impreza-outback-sport with 5 speed manual. In 3rd gear, at 2000 rpm, 30 mph while just barely pressing down on the accelerator to maintain current speed it starts to jerk and pony. I shift into 4th and its gone, nor is it in anyother gear. I only have 130 miles on it. Is it a "break in thing?" Will it go away? Or should I contact the service dept?
