05 sti clutch gone completely? help

i have a 05 sti with 12000miles on it.
is doing currently around 290-300whp.

about a week ago... my clutch started slipping.. or i think is slipping.
what happens is when i apply throttle.. the rpm will just shoot up and the car won't be moving faster and then the rpm will jump down and the car will run faster like is suppose to do.

since yesterday... the clutch won't hold power at all... i can barely go faster than 40mph.

and everytime i try to step on the gas.. the rpm will just shoot up like i am revving the engine and u can smell the clutch.

now... does that mean i have to replace my clutch?
do i need flywheel too if i get a aftermarket clutch?

please help!

yeah looks or rather should i say it sounds like you need a new clutch....me personally i would go ahead and upgrade to a lighter flywheel since you will have everything apart

Get an exedy clutch. If you can afford it. But it's just standard wear and tear...

where do u live? if you live near new york or new jersey, take a look at precision tuning. they have great deals. im paying them 695 plus tax which i i think was like 32 dollars or something for an exedy sportclutch, installed. cant beat that price imo. www.precisiontuning.com

no the warrenty wouldn't cover it.
clutch is considered a wearable part. plus i have aftermarket parts.

but even if u r stock, they won't replace it just because is worn out.
