04 05 06 07 STI Transmissions

What are the differences in Gears and gear ratios with these transmissions, in addition to the ring and pinion gears used?

and i heard the 06 and 07 6spd uses a 3.54 ring and pinion like the wrx's. this true? and are the 06 and 07 transmissions as strong as 04 05?
