Hello Everyone!
Hello everyone! Glad to be here on I-club. Driven Performance Equipment, or DPE as we like to call ourselves, opened our website (www.dpeweb.com) to the world a couple months ago after many months of preparation. We specialize primarily in performance parts for Mazda, Nissan/Infiniti and Subaru vehicles, though we can get parts for other cars as well. Additionally, we are manufacturing a few of our own parts, some of which are in the testing phase and will be released in the coming months.
We’re based out of Shawnee, Kansas, part of the Kansas City metro area, though our only sales channel is online at this time. A bricks-and-mortar shop and retail outlet will come later, once we have established an online presence. We are incorporated in Kansas under Driven, Inc., and unlike some online-only retailers we do maintain a substantial inventory. Additionally, I do run DPE as my full-time job, so you can expect nothing less than outstanding customer service.
So what are we doing on I-club? Well, I’ve had a WRX Wagon since September of 2001. I originally had a black 2002 and have since acquired a silver 2003 model. For one car that can do everything and most of it very well, the WRX is perfect. Our Technology Director has also owned a WRX for a time (he’s since moved on to an RX-8), and we’ve spent a good deal of time under the hood and driving it in every entertaining venue we can find. Though we’re not expert tuners such as Vishnu or Cobb, we have a great deal of real world experience with the car and believe we can save you time and money in helping you choose aftermarket products that are ideally suited to what you intend to use the car for.
Anyway, feel free to check out the site, and send an email or PM to let us know what you think. We’re adding new products and other content to the site almost daily, so check back often.
As an added bonus, we’re offering free ground shipping on nearly every part we carry for Subarus, from now through the end of August! More details in a new thread very soon.
Regards,
Phil Frick

I'm sure we'll enjoy it here
. In my pre-business days I spent lots of time on nasioc, but I hope no one here holds that against us. We plan on making this our 'Subaru Home', and hope to be here quite awhile. We'll eventually jump in on a lot more threads, too, just have a lot of other things going on right now.
