Wed night drag rules?

WHAT should i expect goign to wednesadya night drags.

What time should i get there? I know it starts at 3:00 but should i get there early.
What are the steps as far as gettign through the night.
If i do run faster than a 14.00 second 1/4 mile will my motorcycle helmet work or does it have to be a snell helmet.

And will i be able to run with my brother who is 16. I am his gaurdian so that isnt an issue i just wonder if anyone has been able to do that before
thanks for the info

probably the first run they'd let him ride with you, but once they see you run quicker than 14.0 they would ask him to get out. just tell them you don't know how fast your car is that's what i did . here is a list from sac raceway on weds night drag rules:

1. All drivers must have a valid state driver's license.
2. All vehicles must pass a basic NHRA ET Bracket safety inspection. For a full listing of requirements, consult an NHRA Rulebook.
3. A single co-driver is permitted in vehicles running slower than 14.00 seconds. Co-drivers must be at least 16 years old and must sit in the front seat.
4. All drivers and co-drivers must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops).
5. SFI approved helmets are required for all vehicles running quicker than 14.00 seconds.
6. Motorcycle racers slower than 10.99 seconds are required to wear a heavy jacket, gloves, full face helmet with visor, and shoes covering the tops of the ankles. Bikes faster than 10.99 seconds or 120 mph MUST have one piece or all around zip together full leathers. All bikes must run a chain guard covering entire top of chain
7. Racers running an NHRA ET number and winning 3 or more times (not including motorcycles) must run Street Pro.

hope that helped answer your question.

You will probably run mid to low 14's with a passenger, so you will be ok. Go ***** out the first run and if you come close to 13's then don't launch as hard. But once you run a 13.99 or faster then you and your passenger will need a helmet. As long he is 16 years and older he can ride with you.
Goodluck!
