I'll let the timeslip do all the talking
Don't know why the dates screwed up, typical PMI for ya. I'm P281
. Again, this is a BONE STOCK 2004 Impreza WRX STi. Needless to say I am very pleased with this car.

NIce time... I bet you could get that 60ft down a bit. That with the 104, you could be seeing 13.3!
Good job

Hey steve, first off sweet car.
Now onto the questions. Why run 104 octane? Are you hearing or seeing knock/detonation? At your elevation you shouldn't need any more then 93 octane. Too much octane will slow your car down. If your going to use more octane, then you need to put it in and do an ECU reset to get ANY benefits from the higher Octane.
Oh and that ET is right on with what has been published. Your altitude is hurting you.

When I up the octane in my gas tank the ECU responds without a doubt. It runs smoother, boosts happier, never retards. When I run out of the higher octane gasoline I try to be very gentle for at least 1/2 of a tank. If I don't let the car re-adapt it gets cranky like its having a hangover, starts retarding, etc. I can't believe that the STi's ECU wouldn't experience similar responses. I'd doubt you'd need a reset.
One way to find out: try it
