So no one runs their subies at the track??

First Suby I ever raced against was a 99 RS. He had a K&N drop-in and nothing else. Here is his side of the timeslip. This was at Houston Raceway Park.
60': 2.058 330': 6.281 660': 9.851 @ 69.14 1000': 12.959 1320': 15.604 @ 85.07 |

2001 RS - Injen intake, removed spare tire and jack, no other mods. Last year at Portland International Raceway (PIR)
R/T--------.610 60'--------1.979 330'------6.039 1/8-------9.465 at 71.37 mph 1000'----12.459 1/4--------15.005 at 88.51 mph |
Update!
Injen intake, Borla header, ApexI N1 catback, Perrin Pulley, Exedy street clutch, Exedy Lightweight Flywheel (the flywheel makes it harder to launch - less enertia). Stock weight. 60'--------1.976 330'------6.009 1/8-------9.406 at 71.85 mph 1000'----12.384 1/4--------14.910 at 89.17 mph |
wow, all of those mods for just .1 quicker? dont worry man, i aint flaming on you. maybe next time you'll do better
|
LMAO. This is why i-club is lame. Well let me fill you in on a few things. First off, I was running with about 80 lbs more then the prior run of 15.005. The lightened flywheel and pulley makes launching worse as there is less enertia from the motor to give momentum from a stand still. This also shows that a catback and the cheapest headers available add some power, but not a great deal. Oh and btw, can you do any better, I doubt it.

COBB CAI, tanabe cat-back, ACT clutch, Karboy SS, 18" Prodrive P1's, I think I ran a 15.6@85
